Titusville - Lambertville-New Hope - Washington Crossing
This is a 16-mile loop that goes up the D&R Canal towpath on the Jersey side of the Delaware to Lambertville at Bridge St. Walk your bikes across the River bridge to Main St, then proceed south (left at light) about one-half mile to the closed Chez Odette Restaurant on your left. Behind Chez Odette is small bridge to the Delaware Canal towpath. Ride south several miles to Washington Crossing, Pa. at Route 532. Head east (left) on 532 and across the Washington Crossing bridge to Greenway Bikes.
Titusville - Stockton - Washington Crossing
This is a 22-mile loop that goes up the D&R Canal towpath on the Jersey side of the Delaware to Lambertville at Bridge St. Walk your bikes across the River bridge and continue up Bridge St to pick up the Delaware Canal towpath to the right and below Bridge St. Ride 3 miles north to Centre Bridge, Pa. and re-cross to Jersey into Stockton, NJ. Detour north (left) a short distance to stop by Prallsville Mill and the acqueduct over Wickecheoke Creek. Reverse and ride south 3 miles back to Lambertville on the D and R Canal towpath. Re-cross to New Hope and return to Washington Crossing, PA on the Delaware Canal per the 16-mile loop directions above.

D & R Canal State Park extends from Frenchtown in Hunterdon County, 22 miles north of Greenway Bikes, to Trenton in Mercer County, 8 miles south of our site. Here, the Feeder intersects with the Main Canal which runs across central New Jersey for 34 miles to the terminus in New Brunswick at the Raritan River.

Northern terminus of the Delaware Canal on the Pennsy side is at Easton (where it links with the Lehigh Canal) and extends south to Bristol, Pa...some 60 miles.

Titusville - Bull's Island - Washington Crossing
This is a 28-mile loop that goes up the D&R Canal towpath on the Jersey side of the Delaware to Lambertville at Bridge St. Walk your bikes across the River bridge and continue up Bridge St to pick up the Delaware Canal towpath to the right and below Bridge St. Ride 6 miles north to Lumberville, Pa. at the Black Bass Hotel, and re-cross to Jersey on the John Roebling pedestrian suspension bridge to Bull's Island Recreation Area (part of the D & R Canal State Park). Ride south on the D&R Canal towpath to Lambertville. Re-cross to New Hope and return to Washington Crossing, PA on the Delaware Canal per the 16-mile loop directions above.
Lumberville Foot Bridge is an interesting site and provides scenic view of the Delaware River, as well as crossing available only to hikers and cyclists!
